Brown Sugar Steamed Cake 黑糖发糕

今天有小小的得意。
一直刁难我的发糕,终于败给我了。
发糕笑了,椰浆味好香,
吃起来好实在,但其实可以再松软一点。
虽没有笑得非常灿烂,但我已经好满足了。
(原作annann人生加油站做的发糕,笑到合不拢嘴。)
下次吧,好还要更好!
食谱参考annann人生加油站。
*因为面团太稠,在液体方面我做了小小的增加。如果annann你看到这一幕,请让我知道我是哪里出问题了,先谢咯!

Ingredients 材料:
200gm Bluekey self raising flour 自发面粉 (Sifted 过筛)
125gm Dark brown sugar 黑糖 (Sifted 过筛)
100ml Coconut milk 椰浆 (*Add to 190ml 加到190ml)
25ml Water 水 (*Add to 50ml 加到50ml)

Method 做法:
1)
Heat the steam pot with the steamed cake moulds preheat in the pot.
蒸炉里加入烧水煮滚,关小火放入铁架排上小铁杯,备用。(别关火)

2)
Mix the self raising flour and dark brown sugar.
将自发面粉和黑糖倒入搅拌碗里,用汤匙混合均匀。

3)
Add in the coconut milk and water into the flour. Mix the mixture slowly for 45sec -1min or until well.
倒入椰浆和水,用慢速度搅拌45秒至1分钟或均匀即可。

4)
Arrange paper cups into the steamed cake moulds.
在小铁杯里铺上纸杯。

5)
Pour the batter into the paper cup until 3/4 full.
把(3)倒入纸杯里至3/4满。

6)
Draw a "X" on the batter.
用小刀片在面糊上画上“X”。

7)
Steam with big flame for 15min.
盖上蒸炉盖用大火蒸15分钟即可。

    hi there. tis is the dark brown sugar tat use to cook herbal drinks. in market, there's brown sugar (light brown color) and dark brown sugar. i'm using the darker color one.
    yes, u can replace the sugar with castor sugar and add in the colouring. but tis fatt koh is in coconut milk flavor.
    normally the fatt koh u found in the market wif red color is not adding any coconut milk. it is made from the most original fatt koh recipe.
    i dun hv the recipe for the time being. if u need me to get one for u, do let me know. :)

    Thank you so much for your reply, ya, I saw the light brown sugar in supermarket, but the dark colour one is either the gula melaka or those that we used to boil herbal tea, so thanks now I know is the type that boil herbal tea & also not too sweet. I was thinking no harm adding red colour & at the same time using coconut milk is it. Anyway thanks for your help, wishing you & family 'Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2010"
